The Isuzu Faster, known in the United States as the Chevrolet LUV (Light Utility Vehicle), is a pickup truck marketed by Isuzu from 1972 to 2002 over three generations. The LUV and its chief rival, the Datsun 620, both debuted in 1972 in both Japan and internationally. For its initial 2016 release, Hot Wheels decked her out in the colors featured in the 1970s as the "Mighty Mike" decal package as the original ad pictured at Japanese Nostalgic Cars shows.
Technically, the Chevrolet LUV isn't a Chevrolet at all. They were rebadged Isuzu Fasters that GM sold in the Americas before developing compact pickups of their own. If you count it, this truck is one of only two Isuzu vehicles that Hot Wheels has ever released, the other being the 1999 Isuzu VehiCross.
